Recycling & Enabling Works
At Greenfisher Contracting we pride ourselves on exceeding national recycling rates, by adopting innovative methods to recycle materials on site, to reduce the amount of waste going to landfill, and therefore reducing our carbon footprint. Through careful sequencing on site, and taking a methodical concise approach with our professional partners and geotechnical experts, we work together to ensure all materials are appropriately tested and classified for suitable reuse or recycling off site.
Reuse of materials on site.
We use our geotechnical knowledge to establish which materials can be reused on site, either in their raw form, stabilised or through processing techniques. Where possible we recycle and process the materials on site, or in mobile satellite locations, to reduce lorry and vehicle movements as well as the impact on the environment.
Through recycling of site materials we can produce high quality projects whilst protecting our environment and natural resources and water courses.
Section 278 and Drainage works
Our team have extensive experience in delivering ground enabling packages, from bulk earthworks, management of service diversions and new connections, installation of on site drainage and attenuation tanks, foul and storm drainage, foundations and highway works, including section 278 and 180 connections to existing carriageways.
